The Beacon Thursday Evening Quiz Night - Important News

Bad News, I'm afraid - Although we had hoped that the Beacon would be a successful quiz, it was not to be. With dwindling attendances, and a total lack of any passing trade or local regulars to boost numbers, the management at The Beacon decided to cut short out initial 6-week trial. The venue, despite it's location, had also hoped that we could encourage more visitors, so out thanks to them for at least giving us a chance.

However, we are (again) searching for a suitable replacement venue - and thanks for some of your suggestions. Keep them coming. Having received emails from a few of our regular teams, it is also apparent that Tuesday evenings are preferable - we will try to revert, but it will be dependant on the venue.
