Tonight's Quiz - the third, and final, at The Beacon - was won by
Bête Noire,
who scored an excellent 73 points in total. Scrabble 4-1 won the evenings Cashpot, scoring
4/6 in the Jackpot Round, beating Bête Noire and Philco
by a single point. As the tie-break question
was not required tonight, the separate prize for being nearest
the tie-break answer was won by No New Name Yet.
Only 4 teams entered the quiz tonight, with 15 people participating -
a very disappointing turnout for the third quiz at The Beacon after a prolonged
break - Many thanks for
your support. Please note, however, that due in part to dwindling
attendances, and lack of passing trade (and hence new teams), Quizzes at The
Beacon have been cancelled until further notice. Hopefully we can find an
alternative venue fairly quickly - we of course keep you all updated by
email or on this web-site.
